For this term, in our science IDP, my partner and I; Jeong Yeon, were asked to make either a 3D model or an experiment about the topic given.We got the topic electricity and we decided to make a Tin Can

Robot. The Tin Can Robot is not only related to electricity but it is also an eco-green model because we made it out of unused materials. From the title of our 3D model you should know that our model is made out of a tin can. There were things that we were asked to make out of the topic; 3D model, information board, brochure, power point presentation, and we should make a report about in and post it in our blog.              Do you know me? Do you want to know more about me? If the answer is yes, keep reading! If you don’t, you should not say that, because you’re about to read my interesting personal page! This personal page is my English inter-disciplinary project and I’m putting so much effort in making this personal page because this is part of my final grade. In this personal page, you will read basics information of me, to know who am I, about people’s comments about me, and my future plan. So, keep reading!              

Basic Information

             My mom wrote Atika Hutami Sarwono on my birth certificate, so you have to call me Atika. People do have names for me, like Froggy Eyes.

I was born on April 29^th 1996 in Jakarta, Indonesia; well my mom said she found me crying in a vegetable stall on a market one morning. She said that because I’m the only one in the family who has big eyes and wavy hair, these characteristics make me different from my other family members. My family loves to make fun of me, especially my brother.

In my life, I have one naughty brother, and his name is Dary. I do love him, but most of the time I don’t. I have two lovely parents, my mom named Yoesi and my dad named Dani.

I have an incredible family and I’m having the most amazing phase in live.

Who Am I?

Everything about me is special and I’m amazingly amazing. I’m not as smart as the geniuses in my class, but I’m sure my presence in this class is to stop them from studying once in a while and start having fun. I’m annoying most of the times and I’ll laugh when you make cheesy jokes. That what makes me special and unique. What makes me more unique is that, I like a lot of things.

I like to talk about people; I mean who doesn’t? I like to waste my money on food, I like having true friends; they’ll just keep changing but I think I’ve found my soul mate.

“Do you believe like I believe? Do you believe in magic?” I believe in quotes and I love them because they’re speaking the unspeakable things. I believe in lot of things, I believe there are rooms for us up there in sky when we die later, I believe that hating a person and disliking a person are two different things, I believe that nobody’s perfect; everybody has their weaknesses and bad about them. I have one weakness; I don’t have any talent.

I don’t really have a talent or I just haven’t figured it out, but maybe I don’t have any. Well I performed on a musical last year, and everybody thinks that I did a great job. That may prove that I can act. I don’t play any music instruments, I can’t sing, I can’t draw and I’m not that smart. I can’t really figure out what my talent is.

People’s comments about me

            Since I can’t figure out things by my self, like my talent for example, I have my friends who know me better, for example I can’t really figure out what my talent is, but my friends do, they think I can act. They do have comments about me; most of my friends think that I’m fun, reliable, funny, easy going, and bubbly. They say that my charm is my smile; I have a big mouth that is why I have a big smile and a wide mouth to gossip and talk. I shout loudly and sometimes I become very hyper but that what makes me fun.

Without asking my teachers what they think about me, I already know what they would say. Most of the times I’m being too talkative and annoying, and I distract my friends. Well, that’s 95% true but actually I do know how to behave, it’s just my seatmates, if the teachers put me with the quiet ones, I’ll behave, but it’s their fault to put me with the talkative ones. My history teacher envies me for being full of live and happy all the time.

My family thinks that the house would be very empty without me, that statement is just true because no one would laugh at their cheesy jokes if I was not around. I don’t just laugh at cheesy jokes, I laugh at everything, especially at my freaky ways of dreaming and my dreams.

Future

            I dream about things in my shower, not in my sleep as most people do. A friend of mine can remember all of her dreams. I want to have a house that is made out of glass near the sea. So that every time I wake up, I’ll breathe the fresh air of the sea. I want to graduate faster, I can’t stand school it’s tiring and I need to stop thinking; for a while. My future plan is that I’ll go to university, become a professional doctor outside Indonesia, I’ll work and save money for my retirement age, I’ll marry a hot doctor and grow old with him. When I’m old, I’ll build my dream house with him, adopt a dog and die. It’s boring but blame the movies for making their main character have a happy ending. In the movies, the main characters have their best friends who support them all the time right? Well I do have mine.

They motivate me to be the best, being close to people who are smarter than me, make me want to be like them, to be smart and capable of doing everything. When teachers compliment me and trust me, it makes me like their subject, and it makes me do my best to keep their trust. Teachers’ compliments me motivate the most, though.

            Are you tired of reading or you want more information about me? This personal page will be paused here. The reason is because; actually I’ve reached the words limit. I was supposed to write about my self in 500 words, but I’ve written twice as the words limit. Did I reach your expectations when you read my introduction? I’m a fun person right? Andy Warhol; Prince of Pop Art

Have you ever heard of Pop Art paintings? Do you know any pop art artists? Andy Warhol was one of the pop art artists, in facts he is the prince of pop art. In this analysis we are going to talk about him, how his artwork affects his society, and also why did I choose him to be my chosen visual artist.

Who is Andy Warhol?

Andy Warhol was born on the 6^th of August 1928 and died on February 22^nd 1987. He died when he was 59 years old due to some illness and complications. As I mentioned before he was the Prince of Pop Art. He was an American. He is one of the most influential artists of the 20^th century and the central figure of the American Pop Art Movement.

How did his artwork affect his society?

            His most popular pop art paintings were the paintings that had a unique object. He didn’t draw celebrities or someone/something famous but his objects were the uncommon ones. His objects were the daily things that he found everyday, for example; the banana, he painted the banana. The most famous one was the Tomato Soup or Campbell's Soup Cans. The painting was for the soup can company. The painting was first exposed in Los Angeles. After this was published Warhol started to paint celebrities; Marilyn Monroe for example.

Why did I choose him to be my chosen visual artist?

            I know him from one of his paintings; the Marilyn Monroe pop art. The painting was brilliant. He combined so many colours and it made me in to the pop art paintings. I love colours and he showed that in his paintings, that is why I choose him as my chosen visual artist.

            The Prince of Art; Andy Warhol was a great artist after all; he expressed his ideas in an extraordinary way that people at that time would not expect. The Soup Can pop art was just brilliant. He was thinking creatively that what made me think that he was different from other visual artist.
